I especially liked that he gave examples of stepping out for Christ, and putting our faith in Christ, because sometimes we don't see the obvious in our own lives. Naturally, the Saints stepped out for Christ ! why didn't I think of that. So glad Father reminded me. and of course, walking up the aisle -- I was definitely stepping out for Christ. Thanks for that reminder too.
Re the comments you left on my blog: if you use blurb.com as I did, they give you the option of laying out the book yourself, or having a program lay out the book. I chose to lay out myself. That part was very time consuming in the beginning but when you get used to it, it went rather quickly. I really enjoyed doing the layout myself. The book covers 2009 (only 6 months since I started the blog in July). It is a little over three hundred pages. The cost was $90 (that included shipping). From date of order until date of receipt was about 5 days. Even though the order confirmation said it would not ship before Sept 5, I received it late August. you can have your whole blog downloaded into the program or just certain posts. you can also add posts that you create that weren't on your blog.Gardeniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01425036479074701700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2970104655551891786.post-79016448063848092782010-09-03T07:57:59.967-05:002010-09-03T07:57:59.967-05:00Anne,, Thank you for posting this beautiful reflec...Anne,, Thank you for posting this beautiful reflection from Fr. Don. His questions at the end are ones we all need to reflect on. If we truly practice our faith, we will see that it has "cost" us something, but those costs are nothing compared to what we have gained in Christ. Thanks again and thanks to Fr. Don.
God bless!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15124468084334204166noreply@blogger.com
