Off top...Hi Anne, warm greetings to you in Jesus,

Off topic and for your info, I have turned off my blog 'aspiring f.o.o.L., a woman at the well' - a tough decision to be sure. The only way to do that short of deleting the blog entirely is to restrict access. After I've had time to copy out any of my own writing that I want to keep, I will at that time delete the blog entirely.

In the meantime and unfortunately, the message reading that the blog is "open to invited readers only" is misleading. And so I want to be sure you know that it's not a question of invitation at all.

I will continue visiting your site time permitting... By all means, please reach me by email if you wish, anytime.

Much love to you and prayer for you, aspiring...aspiring...https://www.blogger.com/profile/10825316824097996382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2970104655551891786.post-15925469925924521462010-06-02T09:17:03.707-05:002010-06-02T09:17:03.707-05:00Dear Anne, thankfully my bare feet hit a carpeted ...Dear Anne, thankfully my bare feet hit a carpeted floor when I get out of bed :) Love this post! I pray the Office daily, although I use the 1962 Roman Breviary which still contains the hour of Prime. I also like this breviary because it contains Our Lady's Office which is more ancient than the Rosary. You're right . . . the Psalms are definitely a beautiful aspect of praying the Divine Office. I love it when monks speak of the Psalms becoming a part of their very being. That's a deep intimacy with God's Word.Jeffrey S. J.
