The Fullness of Time

"But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman." ~Galatians 4:4

She was
swollen with hope
ripe with Love
abundant with grace
saturated with trust
complete with life
full of time
His time

His eternal
always there
abiding, enduring, everlasting
past, present and future
timeless time

He entered
through Her
for us
and we, too,
are forever timeless
through His grace and with her yes
we exist
in the fullness of time

  1. Would you please note the author of this poem? +C

  2. Christi, you are always good for a smile! You know that I wrote the poem! Everything on my blog is original unless I cite another source. Keep warm today!!!

  3. Hi! This is just to let you know that I am nominating this blog for a “Sunshine Award.” See for more info. God bless!

  4. Thank you Nancy! You are so sweet and thoughtful!

  5. Hi Anne. I know Nancy gave you this award too, but your blog certainly deserves more than one vote! Thank you for all the beautiful poetry and reflections. Wishing you and your family a blessed New Year.

    1. Karin, thank you so much. May your year be blessed as well!

  6. Anne, beautiful poem, and the picture is stunning! Congrats on one, two, least Sunshine awards! You definitely bring light through your writing! Stay warm...we are freezing in the south, so I can't even imagine Wisconsin!

    1. Dear Patricia,

Thank you so much for the award and the kind words! It has definitely been cold in Wisconsin, but we usually pride ourselves on being pretty tough. This year, though, I'm not sure that we're tough anymore. The kids had four days off school because of the cold! We're slacking!

  7. Hi Anne,
I love all your poetry but this one might just be my favorite! Your words about Mother Mary - so beautiful it gave me shivers when I read them.

    1. Dear Mary, coming from you that is very high praise! Thank you so much!
