Every once in a while a speaker touches my heart in such a
way that I become convicted of the need to take action; to do my part to bring
about the kingdom of God here on earth.
I recently had the opportunity to listen to Fr. Luke Strand, the
Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, give a talk about
vocations to the de Chantal Society, a group of women who are fervent in their
willingness to support vocations, and who gather several times each year at St.
Francis de Sales Seminary for Eucharistic adoration, Benediction, an inspirational
talk and socialization. I was so
grateful that I had jotted down a few notes during his talk because his words
were very powerful. What follows are
