"I say to myself, I will not mention His name, I will speak in His name no more. But then, it becomes like a fire burning in my heart, imprisoned in my bones, I grow weary holding it in, I cannot endure it." Jeremiah 20:7-10

Framed!
cold dark blackness of night
brilliantly framed by
bright sunrise and sunset
fire in the sky burns radiant and warm
to color our day with flames of
pink, yellow and purple
that blend into brilliant, endless blue
God frames our day with love
from the beginning through the end
and seals it in the colors of the sky
the Master Craftsman
creates the art of life
and surrounds it
with an intensely vivid frame
How I love living
in His Divine Masterpiece!
(The image is by Mike Fisk. In 2007 a sailboat was stranded in the ice of Lake Michigan off the shores of Milwaukee. This photograph captured the scene so beautifully!)

Anne,
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!
As always you know just what to say and how to say it- Master Craftsman, Divine Masterpiece- so true and beautiful.
Thank you for this.
Hugs & Blessings!
Anne, I'm always stunned by your really beautiful photographs (as someone who enjoys photography). Do you take them yourself?
ReplyDeleteThanks Karinann and John! I'm not a photographer, I still can't figure out how to use our digital camera and am lucky that I know how to use this computer!
ReplyDeleteI found this picture on google images and the photographer was Mike Fisk. He gets all of the well deserved credit!
